Peter J. Zuleba, III

Chair

Peter J. Zuleba III, CFA, is President and CEO of The Glenmede Trust Company, N.A. and The Glenmede Corporation. Mr. Zuleba is a member of Glenmede’s Executive Committee. Since joining Glenmede in 2004, Mr. Zuleba has held a number of senior leadership roles, including President of GIM. He joined Glenmede following a nearly two decade career at J.P. Morgan Chase and Co. During his tenure, he created and managed the company’s US large-cap growth equity strategy. In addition, he managed discretionary assets for private clients, endowments and foundations, Mr. Zuleba received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Delaware and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York and Philadelphia Society of Security Analysts. Mr. Zuleba serves on the Board for St. James School and is the Treasurer for Philadelphia Health Partnership.

Ted Dallas

Vice Chair

Ted Dallas is President and Chief Operating Officer at Merakey, a leading developmental, behavioral health, and education non-profit provider offering a breadth of integrated services to individuals and communities across the country. Prior to serving as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Merakey, Mr. Dallas served as the Secretary of the Department of Human Services in Pennsylvania and as a Senior Advisor to Governor Wolf. During his tenure, Secretary Dallas implemented significant reforms to help vulnerable populations including a full Medicaid expansion that provided healthcare to approximately 715,000 Pennsylvanians who were previously uninsured. Previously, Mr. Dallas served as the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Human Resources. Under his leadership, the Department set state records for moving individuals from welfare to work, collecting the highest amounts of child support in the state’s history, and serving children in the foster care system in a family setting. Mr. Dallas also served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Martin O’Malley in Maryland, as the Executive Deputy Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, and as First Deputy Managing Director for the City of Philadelphia. He serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for MANNA, as a member of the Board of Trustees for the HealthShare Exchange, and as a member of the Board of Directors for RCPA and Provanta. Mr. Dallas holds a Bachelor in Political Science and Economics degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration in Executive Management from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.

Nimrit K. Kang

Treasurer

Nimrit K. Kang, CFA, is Co-Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager at NorthStar, where she provides high net-worth clients and non-profit organizations with integrative and effective portfolio management that connects social concerns to security selection, asset allocation, and activism. In this role, Ms. Kang works closely with the equity research, portfolio management, and client service teams to deliver highly personalized portfolios that integrate financial goals while upholding a commitment to social change and environmental sustainability. Prior to joining NorthStar, Ms. Kang was a partner, Portfolio Manager, and Director of Research at Coho Partners, a long-only investment manager with $10 billion in assets under management and advisement. While at Coho Partners, she championed the holistic integration of material environmental, social, and governance (ESG) perspectives across the research process and led the vision and end-to-end process design for the firm’s standalone ESG strategy. Before joining Coho in 2017, Ms. Kang was the Director of Research and Investment strategy for MissionSquare Retirement where she was responsible for leading manager research and due diligence and ongoing oversight across $10 billion AUM in multi-managed equity strategies. She also spent more than 10 years in various equity research and portfolio management roles at DuPont Capital Management. Ms. Kang currently serves on the Board of Directors and Audit, Finance, and Investment Committee of Philadelphia Health Partnership, the Finance Committee of The Community’s Foundation (TCF), and the Sustainable Investing Leadership Group of the CFA Society of Philadelphia. She is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia and the CFA Institute and served as a board member for the CFA Society of Philadelphia from 2013-2016. Ms. Kang graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering, and she received a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.

Lorena E. Ahumada

Secretary

Lorena E. Ahumada is Of Counsel to Kleinbard LLC and a member of the Litigation Department. She practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation, employment litigation and counseling, and insurance coverage. She also regularly counsels private and public employers on a broad range of issues, including compliance with civil rights and equal employment laws, hiring and firing practices, wage/hour and Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) requirements, and racial and sexual harassment investigation practices. Prior to joining Kleinbard, Ms. Ahumada was an associate at Ballard Spahr LLP and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Petrese B. Tucker in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Before law school, she served as a congressional liaison in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Legislation at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and worked in the Environment Division of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Ms. Ahumada holds a Bachelor degree from the University of New Hampshire and Law degree from The George Washington University Law School.

José A. Bauermeister

José A. Bauermeister is the Albert M. Greenfield Professor of Human Relations at the University of Pennsylvania, with appointments in the School of Nursing’s Department of Family and Community Health and in the Perelman School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry. His career focuses on developing community-engaged health promotion programs for racial/ethnic and sexual and gender minority youth, including interventions related to HIV/STI prevention and care and LGBTQ+ health. His scholarship includes over 250 scientific publications, supported by over $40 million as principal investigator and over $125 million as co-investigator in federally funded research grants. Dr. Bauermeister holds a Bachelor in Psychology degree from the University of Puerto Rico and a joint Master and Doctorate Public Health degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Bauermeister is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute’s 2019 class of Health Innovators Fellows and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He is also a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia and the Society for Behavioral Medicine.

Jordan A. Brown

Jordan A. Brown is a Vice President at 1315 Capital, a healthcare growth equity firm based in Philadelphia. In this role, she invests in growth-stage healthcare services, medical technology, and specialty therapeutics businesses. Previously, Jordan worked on the investment team at Northwell Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Northwell Health where she made investments in several early-stage healthcare companies. She began her career at Piper Jaffray in their Healthcare Investment Banking group and also spent time at a biopharmaceutical company doing mergers and acquisitions. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Nadia L. Dowshen

Nadia L. Dowshen MD, MSHP is a faculty member at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and serves as Director of Adolescent HIV Services in the Craig Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine at CHOP. She is also an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania and a Stoneleigh Fellow. In addition to specialized care for youth living with HIV/AIDS, Dr. Dowshen provides general adolescent medical care at CHOP and Covenant House, PA, a Philadelphia youth shelter. She co-founded the CHOP Sexuality and Gender Development Clinic which now provides medical and psychosocial support to more than 2000 gender variant children and adolescents. Dr. Dowshen’s research focuses on using youth-friendly technology to improve adherence to antiretroviral therapy and improve other health outcomes for adolescents living with HIV/AIDS. She was recently named an NIH Adolescent Trials Network (ATN) Scholar and a Best Young Investigator by the National Centers for AIDS Research (CFAR). Dr. Dowshen serves on the Board of Directors of the Sexual Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS), a national non-profit which promotes comprehensive education about sexuality and advocates for the right of individuals to make responsible sexual choices. Dr. Dowshen received both her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science in Health Policy Research from the University of Pennsylvania.

Elizabeth A. Eldridge

Elizabeth A. Eldridge is President of Glenmede Investment Management. She is responsible for sourcing investment strategies by identifying and evaluating managers and their portfolios to assess drivers of risk and return, alpha composition, and the robustness of each strategy in various market environments. Prior to joining Glenmede, Ms. Eldridge spent over 20 years at J.P. Morgan, most recently serving as Global Head of Equity and Equity Alternative Manager Solutions within the Private Bank. In this role, she oversaw a team responsible for onboarding and monitoring JP Morgan and third-party strategies within Global Wealth Management. Ms. Eldridge previously served on J.P. Morgan’s International Manager Research Teams in London, Hong Kong, and New York, and worked as a Global Investment Specialist on the UHNW Mid Atlantic Team. Ms. Eldridge received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in economics from Georgetown University.

Michael G. Horsey

Michael G. Horsey, CPA is the CEO and Chairman of Horsey, Buckner & Heffler LLP. He previously served as the Managing Partner of the Philadelphia office of Mitchell & Titus. Mr. Horsey has over 39 years of experience in audit, taxation, and financial analysis with a focus on serving not-for-profit organizations, state and local government agencies, and private clients. Prior to joining Mitchell & Titus, he spent several years at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) and Johnson & Johnson Co. Mr. Horsey is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Police Athletic League, Avenue of the Arts, Inc., Mu Omega Foundation, Committee of Seventy, and the Black Women in Sports Foundation. Mr. Horsey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Finance and Commerce.

Jasmine E. Sessoms

Jasmine E. Sessoms is Chief Engagement Officer at the Community College of Philadelphia. In that role, she manages government relations, enhances corporate social responsibility, cultivates stakeholder relations, drives revenue growth, and advances workforce development initiatives. She is also the visionary behind Center 1968, an initiative focused on promoting civic engagement and providing political education specifically tailored to Black women. Prior to her current role, Sessoms served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Hilco Redevelopment Partners and the Executive Director of the Hilco Redevelopment Partners Foundation where she led efforts in community and government relations; environmental, social, and governance projects; diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI); and workforce development. She also served as the Managing Executive Director of The Fund for Philadelphia, where she was instrumental in managing $17 million in grants aimed at fulfilling the philanthropic goals set by Mayors Michael A. Nutter and James F. Kenney. In 2014, Sessoms established She Can Win, a nonprofit dedicated to preparing and supporting women, especially women of color, to pursue political office. She serves on the Cheyney University Board of Trustees and The Mann Music Center. Sessoms holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Morgan State University and a Master of Organizational Development and Leadership degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
